It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of John Mung’ei Nzambu on Sunday, September 23rd 2018.

Son of the late Nzambu Mung’ei and Muthunu Nzambu and step-son of Kithuri Nzambu. Husband of Beatrice Nduku Nzambu and brother of the late Katunge, Serah Kimanzi, Joseph, Justus, Phyllis Mutua, the late Mulewa, Jackson Nyamai, the late Mbathi, Mung’ei, Kang’ere, Nzuki, and the late Mumbe. Brother in-law of John Mutweti, late Kimanzi Simba, late Syokau, late Doris, Elizabeth, Mwende, Mutua, Zipporah, Mueni, and Lameki. Father of Rashid, Musili, Jayne, Jasmine,  late Munyao and Musyoki. Father-in-law of Nuru Faraj, Maureen Kathini, Alex Mwangovya, Timothy Mukuli, & Esther Mbatha. Grandfather of Odhiambo Mung’ei Jnr, Mwendwa, Mukuli Nzambu, Nzambu Musili Jnr, Nduku Musyoki, Leo, John Thomas, Nduku Iman, Mohammed Mung’ei and Ali Mumbe.

There will be a harambee on Tuesday October 2nd 2018 at All Saints Cathedral from 5 - 8pm. A funeral service will be held at Parklands Baptist Church in Westlands, Nairobi on Thursday October 4th 2018 at 2pm. The cortege will depart for his Chequers Farm, Kyome Village, Mwingi sub district, Kitui County on Saturday October 6th and burial the same day starting at 11am.
