Burial Plans and itinerary for Hon Nyarangi Moturi released.

Various leaders led by Nyamira Governor, Hon John Nagarama have continued to mourn former North Mugirango/Borabu MP Hon. Nyarangi Moturi who was popularly known as “Esirori Nyamaguta. Hon Moturi died on Wednesday 10th October 2018 while being rushed to the hospital.

In his message to the family the Nyamira Governor sent condolences to the family.  “My condolences to the family of the fallen hero Hon. Nyarangi Moturi, former MP North Mugirango,” Nyamira Governor John Nyangarama mourned the fallen leader.

And on 17th October 2018 the family and funeral committee held a fundraiser at Nairobi’s Central SDA Church, Maxwel. During the event Hon Nyarangi Moturi’s son Mr. Dennis Moturi gave accounts on how they have treated their Dad after being diagnosed. On the same day Parliamentarians moved a tribute motion during which Hon Nyarangi Moturi was euologised as a man who worked tirelesly for his electortaes when he was in parliament during the period between 1988-1992

The fundraiser brought together most of Nyamira County Political leadership that included; Nyamira County Senator, Hon Eric Okongo Omogeni, Hon Jerusha Momanyi, Women Rep, Hon Vincent Kemosi MP West Mugirango, Hon Joash Nyamoko MP North Mugirango, Hon Shadrack Mose, MP Kitutu Masaba and Hon Ben Momanyi MP Borabu. Also present was Hon James Boera Onyancha MCA in the Nyamira County Assembly.

The family through the Chairman of the funeral Committee led  Hon. Kiangoi and Co-Chair Mr. Zachari N. and assisted by the Secretary Madam Tynnah Oyugi and Treasurer Nemwel Motanya gave the itinerary toward the burial of the late Hon Nyarangi Moturi whose body lies at a Nairobi Funeral Home. Other people in the committee include Col. Charles Moturi, Ernest Moturi, Pamela Ocharo, Peter Mugoya, Carolyne Oyugi, Lillian Ogwora, Tom Nyaboga and Phyllis Oyugi among others.

Friends and family have been meeting at Nairobi Central SDA and also at Hon Hon Nyarangi Moturi  rural home in Riamanoti, Matutu Settlement Scheme, Nyamira County.

A memorial service will be held at Nairobi Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Wednesday 24th October 2018 at 12.00 noon. The cortege will leave Nairobi on the 25th October 2018 for an overnight stay in his rural home. Burial will take place on Friday 26th October 2018 starting 8am.
